Typical Tuscan dairy products since 1961
Agricoop was founded in 1961 by farmers from Alto Mugello and the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines who decided to form a cooperative farm. Thanks to its great social cohesion and strong bond with local traditions, this small cooperative has created typical Tuscan dairy products, fresh and genuine, collected under the brand name 'Faggiola', the mountain overlooking the valleys of the production area. The slopes of Mount Faggiola are the cradle of Palazzuolo sul Senio, an enchanting place that has been awarded the title of 'Italy's Ideal Village' and included in the list of Italy's Most Beautiful Villages. At the end of 2019, the Agricoop Cooperative of Palazzuolo sul Senio (Fi) was incorporated by the CLAI Group. Faggiola cheeses are strictly artisanal, still processed by hand, one by one, by master cheesemakers who preserve the wisdom of rural tradition combined with the security of a certified and constantly evolving quality. The milk that is processed is only high-quality mountain milk, 100% Italian, and from the pastures of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines.
